OUR STORY
My name is Leah. I started The ACE Group in May 2015. The ACE Group is aimed to create a social scene for adults with disabilities in and around Essex
Meet the handsome Thomas. He was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome at just 2 years old. Thomas is now 29 and living in full time residential care. It became apparent that there wernt many activities suitable for Thomas to attend on a day to day or weekly basis. He loves to party, he loves to play music, loves watching trains, panto gags and making people jump!
Thomas is the main reason I started The ACE Group. He is my baby brother.
We hold our monthly discos, each with its own theme, Professional DJ, tuck shop, inflatables, raffle prizes, Mascots and full on party vibes. THESE are always a hit. (fancy dress always optional)
